How many cups of tea are in one canister?
Each Monista tea canister makes approximately 30–40 cups, depending on how strong you like your tea and how much loose leaf tea you use per cup.
How much loose leaf tea should I use per cup?
We recommend using 1 heaped teaspoon of loose leaf tea per cup.
Can this tea be served iced?
Yes. Many of our herbal teas are beautiful served iced. Brew as normal, allow to cool, then pour over ice. You can add fresh lemon, mint, fruit or a drizzle of honey.
How do I brew loose leaf tea?
Place 1 teaspoon of tea into an infuser or teapot per cup. Add freshly boiled water and steep according to the recommended brewing time.
Can I refill my Monista canister?

I am an avid tea drinker and am excited to have discovered this locally made Monista tea range. The canisters look fantastic sitting in my kitchen and the range of herbals is excellent. The green tea has a hint of mint which I love and the camomile is one of the best I’ve tasted. The teas are strong and flavourful so I can re-steep my cup a number of times, meaning it’s great value for money. I’m hoping they bring out some lemon grass tea and/or a Darjeeling next!
