Here’s how to make a pot of classic black tea:

1. Pre-warm your teapot with hot water. Tip the water out after a few minutes.
2. Fill your kettle with fresh cold water from the tap (boiling water a second time will result in a flat cup of tea due to the loss of oxygen).
3. Place 1 heaped teaspoon of loose leaf tea per cup e.g. four cup pot = 4 heaped teaspoons.
3. Pour the boiling water into the pot and steep your tea for 3-5 minutes.
4. Gently rock your teapot from side to side to ensure a well balanced blend.
5. Remove the basket infuser (if you have used one).
6. Pour & Enjoy
